I rarely promote petitions, but this is different. Dana Siegelman is fighting for her dad.

The background story of Governor Don Siegelman’s prosecution is a fascinating and maddening read. In a nutshell, Siegelman made the mistake of becoming a blip on Karl Rove’s radar while Rove was still part of George Bush’s administration.

At the very least, I urge you to consider signing Dana Siegelman’s petition. A disgusting hack job by Republican apparatchiks was committed against Don Siegelman. I encourage you to get involved by signing the petition. And please consider encouraging your friends.
